- CORPORATE GRAND PRIX - The Don Swanson Racing School and associated programs were founded in 1997. “There was a need for a professional racing school here in the Southern California area” says a school spokesperson. “There were professional schools, race tracks and Grand Prix race events in the San Francisco area, Las Vegas and Phoenix but nothing based in Southern California, the "Car Enthusiast Capital" of the World! Don changed all that. Rather than wait for a full size road racing track to be built in the area, which is not likely to happen, Don decided that the techniques, terminology and methodology of racing could be taught utilizing racing karts on large parking lots and also during occasional visits to various alternative facilities. The Don Swanson Racing School was the first to use racing karts for both training and corporate entertaiment activities. The school is also the first to offer mobile, adaptable racing programs at client locations which eliminates huge travel problems for participants. Our operation is based in the San Diego area but we conduct events throughout Southern California, Arizona and Nevada. Because we are mobile, we can go anywhere, anytime. We transport in our beautiful 70' 18 wheeler every element required to conduct an entire fun-filled event for Corporate and/or Private groups. We arrive early in the day, design and assemble an actual Grand Prix racing circuit which includes setting up nearly 200 safety barriers and designing a pit and staging area. We then unload canopies, tables, chairs, coolers, drivers suits, helmets and other safety gear along with 12 sleek, safe racing karts that your group participates in. We staff the entire event, provide all particpants with valuable instruction by professional racing drivers and see to it that everyone has a positive and memorable experience! Can you imagine all of your company's departments competing in a friendly, positive racing event for Monday morning (and beyond) bragging rights! WE PROVIDE EVERYTHING, SAFETY GEAR, HELMETS, DRIVING SUITS, REFRESHMENTS AND FRIENDLY STAFF MEMBERS.

These racing karts are the real deal. 9 Horsepower Honda 4 cycle engines, rack and pinion steering, racing slicks, racing seats, 50+ Miles per hour top speeds and wheel to wheel action while you're sitting 2" off the ground. You will be wearing a racing helmet, driving suit, gloves and neck collar. The karts are equipped with perimeter scuff rails for extra safety. THIS IS THE VEHICLE THAT ALLOWS US THE FLEXIBILITY OF LOCATION WHICH MAKES OUR PROGRAMS SO UNIQUE. OUR TRANSPORTER ALLOWS US TO BRING THE ACTION TO YOU WHEREVER YOU ARE! The front 18' of the trailer is a driver lounge area and where we sometimes discuss all aspects of driving and racing.
